Are they special cars in many respects sure, love the 997 and why I have one and came back after being in the air cooled world for a bit. But chuckle when see people acting as if they have claimed the holy grail of cars in their 997. Drive em, Mod em to your liking and have no worries your harming this holy grain collector car if you decide to chop into it and start cutting fenders....
I think you MISSED the part where i said "high mileage, wrecked......."

As far as having some claim to a holy grail.... REALLY!!!

All yours, go for it. If you think this build in anyway resembles what the OP and other wide body build supporters support I think you maybe missing the direction intended.
