Hello all!

Been lurking for a bit and hunting patiently for last 9 months or so for the right 4S. Managed to find a 2007 Midnight Blue Metallic with the Natural Leather, Bose, and 7.9k miles.

Had the PPI at SpeedSport, called previous service shops, felt good, and then picked it up last Friday. Xpel Ultimate thus far, great at it is.

Shaping up to be the Summer DD. Just an awesome machine, and makes the 328i GT next to it look like a giant.

Now learning all I can about detailing these puppies to keep it looking pristine for years to come (or until I get Upgradisitis).

PS - If anyone is on MTBR or FJ Cruiser forums, nice seeing you again!

e90post. Had a 335d that was another amazing car until the alternator cable caused unnecessary pain, like 2k miles after the warranty went up and an e90 M3, both of which were phenomenal vehicles. The 335d being a complete monster, and reasonable with 33mpg!

The 335d died, no christmas tree lights on dash, while my wife was on highway in the snow. Took 3 different trips to two different dealers and 2 tows to get BMW to realize the e90 gasser battery to fuse box cable that was defective and recalled is the same one causing the same issue in the e90 diesels. Sore point.

Sounded mean, TORE through rear tires even being gentle. Luckily didn't have it long enough to find out about an carbon build up issues or lack thereof. It was a '12 so had all the other kinks worked out.

Wife and I both loved that car and really had some great trips around the east coast in it, but she didn't trust it any longer, so enter the 328i.

This 997.1 replaces the e90 M. Tough engine to leave behind.

Thanks! I intend to put some PCA rallys and picnics into the schedule for the NYC/CT area as well as a couple nice road trips.

8k miles on a 997.1? That's downright neglect. We're counting on you to rectify that situation and show that car some high speed, high RPM, twisty back road love!

I typically like to modify my intake and exhaust, sound with some performance (debatable), and wondering if anyone has done the Fabspeed 997 Performance Package? I'm out of warranty so no hold backs to modifying the car.

I'll also search around on this topic too...
