Default Japan First to Allow Mirrorless Cars

This is going to be a huge design change once countries start to allow this. Wonder what the next 911 might look like without side mirrors...excited!!!

Frankly I never understood why F1 still has mirrors. They should have been mirrorless a decade ago. Just flying knives in a crash at this point.

Another doodad on the never-ending road to evermore complexity.

From the article: "... cars being built with no side view mirrors. Now even though plenty of people don’t use them anyway. ..." If people are not monitoring their mirrors and pivoting their heads as they should, are they going to monitor properly the increasing complexity and added distractions of a sprawling glass display?
