Default 997 Memory seats mirror option

Wouldnt you know, I had the dealership make me a new yet so I have two.

Never thought to backup and check if my mirrors lower.

Is there anything I can do to make the mirrors go down like they did or I have to go back to the dealer

Make sure the mirror switch is set to the right (passenger side).

Is there any hope for people who don't have memory to get this function?

Isn't that post just asking if the "mirror down when reversing" function can be used if the car lacks the memory seats etc.? I didn't see that as an insult...

Hmm, I never noticed I have this feature on my pcar, I have it on my 16' RDX and not sure if I like it or not. I need to check to see of the mirrors lower in reverse since I do have memory option. Thanks.

There is a solution with the mods4cars plug&play module. At least for 997 convertibles. I think it has the tilt mirror function if you put reverse in. Maybe it's also available for coupes? Check their website. The solution for cabs is called "smarttop"

For coupes it is called RemoteKey, works well for a lot of other functions, also.

Yep I got the Smartop, just need to install it. WAY to hot out there to do it now.

The only challenge we are having is the seats do not go all the way back when you take the key out.

Anyone know that fix?

Mine doesn't either, I believe that is a PIWIS setting.
