Default Gundo Hack - Jersey Shore

Anyone have any recommendations? Bodymotion in Monmouth quoted $400 which is ridiculous. A couple of shops I went to in NYC refused to touch it because of inexperience and complexity.

Really looking for a shop in the Jersey Shore area. Please help!

Because a basic muffler hack should be cheap/easy.

I got mine done (997.2) at Mufflex in Trenton a few months ago. Shop isn't much to look at but they were very professional and did a great job.

Cost was $300 I think and they did it while I waited (there is a DnD down the street with WiFi). Took them about 2 hours. It's something they have done over 100 times.

I was originally going to do Fister but I work crazy hours and have 2 toddlers and the ship back and forth and then needing someone to install them made me choose the easier route.

As for the mod - it sounds simply amazing. It's drastically improved my enjoyment of the car - the perfect note with a slight burble on downshifts.

I'll be in Belmar all weekend if you want to hear it.

Would a Gundo hack hurt the value of the car at all? Not sure if all would welcome it. Love the throaty sound though.

I don't think it will... if so its easy to delete it.
For the new buyer just say it sounded like that when you got it, isn't it lovely... the experienced buyer will appreciate you already did it.

I'm going to have to find someone in Northern NJ to have this done. Looks like a cheap hack and it does sound great.

I also went to Mufflex (central NJ) and am happy with their work. The very beginning of the video clip below is a cold start of my 3.6 997.1 with a 2" gundo hack. I had it done about 1.5 years ago and it was 300 bones, for reference. A very worthwhile mod, and I love the sound.
