Just purchased a '07 997 cab from a buddy of mine - awesome car and first time Porsche owner. Few issues with the car and could use some advice.

1. Cab has a leaky hydraulic piston that needs to be replaced. Should I go with a rebuild for $250 or buy new. Anyone with experience with the the rebuilds?
2. I need to replace the rear rock guards. I live in the DC metro area. Any recommendations for shops / individuals that can do this at a reasonable price?
3. There's a rattling noise coming from the passenger door (or nearby). Gradually getting worse over the past few weeks. Any thoughts?

I have ordered magnetic rock guards from Magnagrafix, if you want to go black or carbon fibre look.

Welcome to the forum...you gotta post pics...

Regarding your stone guards, any competent shop that installs the clear bra film will be able to do a good job. Up to you whether you buy Porsche stone guards or have them install the 3M stuff which they can cut to suit. I opted for the 3M stuff which they cut a tad larger than the OEM size for about $100 all in.
