Pagid Yellow 'Splits'

Pagid Yellow 'Splits'
It may be time for new pads and if so, I am considering moving to Pagid Yellows based on various advise.
Car is a 997.2 GTS used for a mix of AX and DE; little street.
I am current using Porsche Sport Pads and tires are Cup 2s.
I have seem reference to 'splits' for the Pagids which I assume means different formulation pads front/rear. Can anyone point out common configurations for these splits in my vehicle (along with advantages of such split configurations).
Also, any preference for the RS19 over the RS29 or vice versa (either single or split).
Thanks

If you're running BOTH AX and DE and want to run the same pad stick to square setup. AX I've heard like mixing pagids w/ front bias to get the front to turn and rear to rotate better on tighter turns. DE like square and ill advised to mix bias on fast tracks unless you've changed brake hardware. So if you are using the same pads for both AX and DE stick with square for safety and sacrifice that front bias for AX.

19 & 29 are VERY similar. The 29 will have a bit higher coefficient of friction although it doesn't show much in this chart:

The 19 has a bit better release characteristics so we see teams occasionally use it on the rear when they use RS29 or RSL1 on the front. With that said, RS29 front and rear is our most common sale. If you want to run a more agressive compound on the back, RS14 or RST3 would be the ticket.

I have run both Yellow and Blacks for extensive DE days. I prefer the Blacks; tremendous stopping power, zero fade for me, excellent modulation. harder for sure on rotors, but the performance is worth the extra rotor wear.

Someone correct me because I'm not exactly sure and too lazy to look it up but aren't he RS19s meant for sprint compared to the RS29s longer wear? I'd think then the RS19s would be better for AX.
