The oil gauge with the needle on the right is Oil Pressure.

Oil level is a digital readout in center of dash available when engine not running.

The number one reason that a gauge with a needle would be wrong is a bad sender/sensor. Other things such as a bad ground or faulty in-dash gauge can be inspected, so start with easy/common stuff first.

Most effective way to search on this subject, which will also reveal Rennlist threads is via Google: 'bad oil pressure sender 997'

Lots of info .
