Located in Connecticut, Butzi Gear is our latest dealer on the East Coast representing BBi Autosport's complete line of performance and safety upgrades. Butzi Gear's 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera (997) shop car build begins with the installation of our BBi Street Cup Roll Bar to properly mount harnesses and increase protection. To give the car a more striking color scheme, Acid Green was the color of choice for both the bar and brake calipers. To achieve a beautiful finish, we shipped the bar uncoated to Butzi Gear to have it professionally painted instead of getting it powdercoated. Here are some pictures of the build currently in progress that we would like to share. Please stay tuned for more updates.

BBi Autosport Porsche 996 & 997 Street Cup Roll Bar
Our bar features 4130 chrome moly steel tubing for excellent strength to weight ratio. With our sensible approach, the 2 piece design allows the bar to be mounted to the front seat belt mounts and to the rear strut towers (stronger mounting points), and still be compatible with the factory Bose subwoofers. Other similar roll bars on the market are not compatible with the subwoofer. For superior strength and rigidity, the bar utilizes "X" braces on both front and rear sections and each joint has been meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut.

- Designed to fit all models of the 996 and 997 chassis including the Carrera, Turbo, GT2, and GT3 (excluding cab models)
- Bolt-in installation requires no drilling and minimal carpet trimming
