I'm originally from The Burgh. Lawrenceville and North Hills.

 

As a life long (and long suffering) Islanders fan, I can certainly say the best team entering the playoffs won the Cup. Watching the Pens surge in the late second half of the season, you just knew they were gonna be real trouble in the playoffs. As unhappy as I was that we put up such a lifeless fight against Tampa, I was THRILLED to see Washington sent off. Again. That's at least a solid consolation prize.

 

Well, that whole "One for the Thumb" maybe exhausted their (Islanders) Karma Bank! Hard to believe the '80s were that long ago!

 

Former Burgh resident here, living in the ATL now. Big Steelers and Pirates fan too. Pittsburgh, the city of champions!!!
