Is there a blown fuse? My 12v on the console blew and it was a fuse.

Don't know how to remove that carpeted piece.

It's likely one of the fuses is blown, you can see if any of the fusses are blown in the fuse box on the drivers side of the dash.

As for the carpeted piece, it's held in by one T-25 Torx screw pretty close to the center of it, you can feel it if you run your fingers over the area.

Checked the fuses, all OK, I'll remove the section of carpet and check the wiring.
Thanks for the responses.

+4 on fuses

fuse box is on drivers side outer footwell vertical wall... open door there is folded paper guide sheet... read it carefully...

i believe footwell circuit is 15 amp fuse is second row, right hand edge iirc.

there should be extra fuses in there if the car is stock and not bothered with fuses blown previously...otherwise they are readily available at local car parts store

DO NOT put in higher fuse values than specified replacing a blown fuse

Yup, look for the screw in the hole. Panel is easy removal.

Thanks everyone,
I was able to remove the carpeted section with a Torx 25 to inspect plug and then changed out a 7.5 fuse in "A" row # F8 and its working.
This forum rocks.

I'm just happy I was able to contribute. I'm still very new, but I had just pulled those panels the week prior. Glad to be of help, and I agree, this forum is great.
