Default PCM error

Hi Guys, I need some advice please.

The car is still new to me so Id like to get all the niggles (such as this) sorted this week by the dealer before they become my problem.
I have searched far and wide but I cannot find another thread (on this forum and others) with an error like mine
Can you guys give me any clues as to what could be causimg this error?
it will always pop up once per drive sometimes as i start up sometimes a little later but once i confirm it doesnt show again until the next time the car is restarted.

TIA

there is a shuttle/drive looking box in the frunk, however the Nav is working and displays the maps fine so I haven't fiddle with that yet.

And the computer wants you to confirm the unknowingness of it all? Wow, a deterministic system requiring a faith-based approach to use.

That is the best error message ever! Here's what I would try to debug it:

1. Buy a MOST bypass optical loop
2. Remove each MOST device from the loop, one at a time, replacing it with the bypass loop. Check if the error message goes away or changes. Do this for CD changer, Nav DVD drive, Bose amp.

If that doesn't shed light on the problem, maybe the PCM device itself is malfunctioning.
