Default Your thoughts on this car?

http://classicmotorsdc.com/2006-Pors...7/Details.aspx

Priced pretty good if the car is in good shape I think. 5K miles a year isn't too much, new clutch and brakes not too long ago. The repaint of the back bumper is a question for sure. Just a repaint due to "scratch" as they state or replacement/repaint due to accident? They say the carfax is clean but I don't put a lot of stock in what carfax says. Obviously it would need a good PPI. Do you guys see anything I'm missing that I should be concerned about? I will call and see if they can give me the car fax and any other info they have on repairs. Any thoughts? Thanks.

From the pictures the car looks excellent. At $37K I think it is very good price and if the PPI does find something then you can negotiate further. I wouldn't stress on it too much, the price is too good and you can always put some money into fixing whatever issues come up.

Nice options. I'm betting you could negotiate to $36k and drive away with a big smile on your face.

I love it. 6MT, sport seats, Carrera Sport wheels, and a great color combo. Definitely get an inspection, including paint metering. Good luck.

If it meets your requirements, jump on it after the PPI comes back positive.
I would.

I looked at this car, it looked very clean, def. garaged and loved. It was on my list but the fiance wanted AWD.

I didn't drive it or get a PPI it, but on it's face it looked like a great example.

Very nicely optioned "S". Beautiful paint. Sport seats. Brakes. Clutch. Water pump. Price
Only slight negative I can read between the lines is the paint chips, wheel curb rash and bumper repaint - might indicate a lack of love from previous owners - might just be normal wear & tear for a ten year old car in DC.
If I were in the market, I would jump on it - today!

You'll find a better one. I work on my own cars and therefore avoid the ones with northeast history. Everything underneath gets crusty...
Look south and there a a few similar ones around.
Good luck!

well, they are not cpo ing the car. Dont know if they can do one that old. But look at their complete inspection. If they didnt do one ? why not, Tell them to do a complete cpo and see what it needs plus look at all their service records.
