Default New Owner, just saying hello, behold the Engagment Porsche

I bit the bullet and asked my girlfriend of 5 years to marry me, but I have a remarkably hard time spending money on jewelry, especially with what you're supposed to spend on a an engagement ring. So instead she is the new owner of an '06 C4S with 67k miles on the odometer.

I really can't thank all of you that contribute to this forum enough, all of the information that you've made available made the process of picking a sound vehicle much easier and gave me great piece of mind!

I hope I can contribute and make the forum an even better source of info.

First mod is adding Bluetooth, I'm thinking Denison 500SBT.

Here she is (the car, not the girl):

Start shopping for a ring ASAP. In her view, cars are disposable.

F--k convention.

Nice ride.

Go live.

Screw rings and the associated mentality.

Not so much, the 911 has been her dream car, and she did get a ring, albeit a far humbler one than would have otherwise been called for.

She sounds like a keeper. (The girl. And the car.)

Thank you much!

I'll get some more photo's up as soon as we get a nice day with some sun. It's been nothing but rain here for the past month.

LOL, that's awesome!

She's more German than Italian, but the Stones fit.

Might have to pick up a key-chain.

Gotta love a woman who wants a car more than a rock!
My wife wanted a cheap wedding, so we could put what we might have spent on that, towards a down payment on our first house. That's when I knew I had me a winner.
Congrats on the new car and new wife.

Congratulations. Very cool girl. Reminds me of my wife of 26 years- love Rolling Stones, Porsches and Leicas. Makes it a lot easier when I try to justify spending $60-$70K on a 5 year old car that I am shopping for.

Well done. And good pick on the fiance. A woman smart enough to value something you can actually use, instead of just something to look at!
