anyone still @ stock height

It is not a question of being a purist. First, my car is not a cup car and I have to handle as gracefully as I can, all the potholes and bumps we have on the fantastic American roads. Secondly, in parking lots or gas station, I do not like to stay stuck on speed bumps or on the hatches used to refill the tanks.
I have a 2006 C4S with PASM and it is plenty low the way it is.

And you said the car would be undrivable?
I understand guys who already have lips questioning further lowering but saying its undrivable is laughable
The 993 NA ride height was 25 mm above ROW as stock and looked like a Wermacht troop carrier. You could throw a cat between the top of the tire and fender lip. The reason all of us 993 owners lowered our cars to ROW is that it actually made the car better looks and improved the handling. It came ****ed up from P so we fixed it.
My 997 looks and handles great as is and I would never consider lowering it.

I had a 993 that was lowered. With my 997 beside it the 4x4 look is unmistakable. It came ****ed up so we fixed it
So since I've seen this thread I started paying more attention to how my car looks. Stock 997 Base Carrera. The front wheel has a consistent gap all around the fender. If it was any lower the gap on top would be smaller than gap on the sides. I am not a fan of this 'slammed' look.

I need some help. I have an '05 997S which needed new front shocks. We went w Bilstein B6 Damptronic to work w PASM. Now, the car looks much higher and it is driving me nuts. I measured 27" from the garage floor to just under the front fender arch. I can put an entire fist between tire which is OE '19 inches and seems to be 2.5 inches of room between top of tire and arch. We used original spring. What happened here? Please assist. TY!

I have speed bumps on my way home that will probably become an issue if I lower mine. I’d like to but my 997.1 handles so well with its stock setup that I’m afraid to mess with it. I’m afraid that it would make my DD harder to live with. But I do like the lowered stance.
Not to mention that the front splitter already rubs.
