This, get a used Denali, they don't hold value, that way, you can keep both. I would never sell a Porsche to get a GMC, maybe a Ferrari but not a depreciating asset like the Denali. As soon as the price of gas goes back up to $5/gallon, you can't give it away for free.

I'd keep the 964 and sell the T4S. I'd hate selling the T4S, though it is easier to find something newer than to get a 964/930/993 where you truly know it's history. If I had to sell the 964, I'd regret that to no end.

You've got a vanity plate on one, not the other. Assuming you've owned both for some reasonable amount of time, I think this indicates where your heart lies. Keep the wife and BEST911. Ditch the other car...T

I know.. If it were up to me I wouldn't change a thing. While she does drive the 997 time to time, it is mostly the minivan ( errands, kids rides, soccer mom, etc..) on a daily basis. So two Odyssey's in about 8 to 10 years, she flat out told me that she got sick of minivans and honda's ( I did persuade her to lease a new pilot suv) She said no told me it's not fair I get all the fun with two 911's while she's stuck with the minivan.
So what can I say? Happy wife happy life right? Man! still undecided.

If I read this correctly, the Porsche you keep is your DD. I think the 997.2 is unequivocally a better daily.
If you're looking for a sense of occasion when getting in and this isn't your daily, 964 for sure.
Other considerations:
- annual mileage you plan to drive
- do you need to haul kids occasionally in the 911
- condition of the 964
- do you care about PDK convenience of its your daily

Take the wife to test drive a wrangler. Wrangler is way more fun than GMC and is also less expensive.
Show her some pictures of modded wrangler with various top configurations.
I have a 97 wrangler and I enjoy it greatly. My 997.1 CS cab spent a few nights outside but the wrangler, with hardtop, didn't have to.
