I think plasti-dip may work for this too. If you do it right, you should be able to spray the whole cap then carefully peel around the pattern, leaving it perfectly filled in.

So after everyone's great DIY help on this, and motivated by the pics that were posted, I hit the paint store this afternoon and knocked this out this evening. It was as just as easy as everyone said, and I think it turned out great. Here's my set up for this small job, and how it looks installed for my commute to work tomorrow!

Yeah, serves me right for buying the paint at a Sherwin Williams paint store with that size being the smallest size they would sell me

Got the urge to do my shifter as well.

Went to Hobby Lobby and got a paint pen and used these cool q-tips that are small and got the dirt out.





All Cleaned up.

I got that spot. Think it's the pic. I got every spot. Used alcohol and a toothpick to clean every number.
