3rd brakelight issue

3rd brakelight issue
So this morning I get a message on my dash on the 3rd brakelight for my car. I had someone check and it comes on no problem. Any ideas on what it could be since it still works. faulty sensor somewhere?

Did you check it with the spoiler up? You have two center lights.

The reason I suggested fuse or shorting is because if the fuse is on it's way out it might malfunction. Shorting due to metal touching the wire that causes the error when the contact happens (due to power leakage) but the light still works.
