Since I like to choose when stuff gets replaced instead of letting things fail and have a "crap" moment.....
Swapped out the motor mounts (original) and did the PTX trans fluid swap today...along with the oil change and brake fluid.
Does it drive better....mentally yes, but I'm gonna sleep better tonight!

I hear you… I had the engine mounts replaced last month when other work was being performed. The mounts were not visibly sagging, but shifting seems to have improved.
Transmission oil to be replaced at next service, although two reputable places I've approached here drew a blank when I mentioned Mobilube PTX… I may need to source my own.

Check your tranny mount as well. It's a diy. Engine mount is definitely diy. Less than an hour and all you need are basic tools and a floor jack.
Mine was beyond shot. Then entire internal support crapped out.

55k on the original mounts....yes the combination of the PTX and the new (stock) mounts have crisped the shifts. The original mounts were close to done as the rubber was cracking.
I had my Indy look at the trans mounts and they still looked good but they will be on the replacement list for the fall....I'm also contemplating replacing all the shocks as well. Doing a little homework first to see what is best for my use, maybe the Bilstein PSS-10 setup or ?
