Today we decided to go for a drive . Got about 2 mins from home and reduced engine power warning came on 2011 c4s. Turned it off then on and warning went away . Took it out for an hour drive and everything was fine? Any thoughts? The battery was replaced a month ago and there is lots of crNking power and fires up immediately. It had lots of pull and performance seemed normal.
I drive it about 2x a week. And I do have a tender on it although not lately as I have been driving it more with the better weather. I'm fairly certain the battery is fine as I know what the cranking was like with the dying battery and on its last day I jumped it, drove it for a bunch and when I returned home the car wouldn't turn over so I knew it was line to lay that battery to rest. I'll check the charging voltage next time I run it to check the charging system on the car. I read a lot about the HPFP on these cars so that was my first thought. I'll see if it occurs again.

The HPFP with issues was long replaced. Yours is an '11 and it should not have any issue.

UPDATE: It was the HPFP on my 2011. However it was covered under the emissions warranty....... I have to give thanks to Aaron my service advisor at London Porsche
Just had the same thing happen to me. 2012 Black Edition went into limp mode with a reduced power light during a track day at VIR. Shut it down and restarted it and the light went away. Drove it straight to the dealer and had no issues with it on the road.
The dealer found fault codes for the HPFP and replaced it, fortunately it was covered under the CPO warranty. The 911 has 32000 miles on it.
