Default 997.2 GTS: Exhaust System Recommendation

Folks,
Please share your recommendations on an Exhaust System for my 997.2 GTS. The PSE tips needs to be refinished or replace...so rather than to pay for OEM parts, why not to try a good exhaust system. Offers are welcome!
Cheers,
T.

Porsche PSE with Sharkwerks crossover center muffler delete, Fabspeed with their bypass X pipe, Tubi with their proprietary cross over in that order from least expensive to most. I think the Sharkwerks is the best bang for the buck but if you are looking for a complete exhaust change the Fabsped is pretty amazing sounding. The Tubi is as much art as it is science and they sound well like a tubi exhaust. Tubi has such a distinctive sound across all their products. Some one on the list refinished his PSE tips in all black and they looked ****. Not many aftermarket tips fit the PSE exhaust as I recall. I am sure some one with a better memory will chime in on this one.

+1, IMO, no need to spend $$ on an aftermarket exhaust system when removing the center muffler provides an exceptional upgrade to the PSE.

Thanks so much for your answer. I would like to keep the PSE system, so Sharkwerks is in my case the way to go and the price is fine (As a new GTS owner I have a large list of things that I would like to do in my car, so better to stay "in-budget" for this mod).

"large list of things"? The GTS is a fairly complete, competent car. What do you have in mind?

As far as the "crossover center mufler delete" options go, Sharkwerks is NOT "best bang for the buck". That distinction I believe should go the BB pipes that I bought from JEGS for $576.00 shipped and with which I'm extremely happy with.

So many posts about exhaust upgrades.... We should organize a 997.2 Sharkwerks centre muffler bypass group buy.

Not sure how to organize that but I'm in.

Get your tips coated. Darin @ FD Motorsports has ceramic costed tips for a very low price.

What color is your car and the tips?

Maybe a Fister muffler mod is the way to go. He does it for PSE mufflers too.

I like the PSE tips, so I would like to keep it no matter what. But if something could be done behind them, please count me in.
