Default Anybody can recommend a good Car Transport / Shipping Company

I would like to find out if any of you can recommend a good Transport Company for my Porsche.

I am moving from MO to FL and would prefer to ship it rather than hauling it my self or flying back and forth to drive my cars down.

I would prefer a closed trailer for this.

thank you very much for your help

Ted O'Brien at Hanover Transport. 508.731.0774.
Had stressful experience with wife's X3 from Chicago to tx with different company. Recent purchase of 911 cab in North Carolina and used Hanover. Totally great experience.
Will use them again for any car shipping needs.
I have no affiliation, just very satisfied customer.

Angels Moving Autos is excellent. They got me out of a jam when another, very well known, mover dropped the ball. They turned on a dime and got my car from San Francisco to Detroit three days ahead of schedule...

I have used Thomas Sunday twice and they provided excellent, professional and worry free service. Enclosed trucks for both, one car from California and one from Alabama.

Go for easyhaul.com

It ships your car safely and securely.

USP of the company is its timely delivery both domestically or internationally

I purchased my C4S from a RLer in New York City. Intercities was recommended for the transport company from NYC to Victoria Texas and they delivered the car with no issues. They are very popular and very busy, I was told the big car auction companies use them.

Plycar is one that I have used to Ship an investment grade 993 from Omaha to Seattle in an enclosed trailer. I picked them for several reasons even though they were not the cheapest:
1) Recommendation from a friend who had used them.
2) Family run and own all of their cars and drivers. They do not contract out the work.
3) Seem to be used by show cars...in fact, when they pulled the 993 off the truck there was a 918 in front of it.

Everything was perfect with zero issues. Would absolutely use them again for any car I care about.

I have a non-Porsche that I want to transport reliably, but inexpensively. Open carrier would be fine for this vehicle.
Any recommendations for reliable open carrier transport?
Thanks.

I've heard good things about Intercity and Plycar. My Ferrari was shipped from Connecticut to Texas using Horseless Carriage; good communication, decent price...T

I used Reliable for shipping my '09 Carrera from Gainesville FL to Ft Worth TX area. I wanted enclosed transport for this one. Tariff was $1240, prolly double what open carrier would be. I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.
