Default Installed radiator grills, look great! Protect the radiators!

997.1 and 997.2 versions for sale with powder coated black mesh grills, $55 shipped 2 piece side grills. I also have the full sets of 3 pieces, 2 side grills and the center grills for sale for $109 (see later in this thread for photos). PM me for details.

So I was worried about the accumulation of fall debris and nastiness that can deteriorate the expensive radiators and due to how low they are they can get rocks pretty easy that can puncture the radiator. So I decided to make some radiator grills and they look great! The photo are my first prototype, I have perfected it. I put a split piece of rubber tube around the outside to protect the paint. I am also toying with the idea of selling them if anybody is interested!

Improved set for sale. $55.

Center radiator grill install video (997.1 but similar for 997.2)

What is this. May need some refinement before production.

I secured it with black smooth cable ties. Blends right in with a black car. I imagine that they could be painted with touch up paint on any other color car and blend right in.

Yep, this was the first prototype. The next batch will be completely behind the bumper cover. It is a minor adjustment in shaping. I have already had big chunks of debris caught in them. If you all want me to make them, I assure you that they will fit perfect!

I would be interested as long as the fit is good and they stay on under hard driving of all sorts!

Yep fitment is guaranteed to be better, had them up to 135 mph. Not an issue.

Production photo. Replaced my prototypes with the new ones shown here.

Updated the cut template and changed the protective sealing rubber material.

I installed the Zunsport grills a while ago. Did not like the stainless steel nor black so plastidipped to dark grey. They are installed since August 2015 and happy with the result.
