Fabspeed Bypass Db measurement on 997.1?
I've searched and read a lot of opinion about how loud or not loud the Fabspeed bypass pipes are on an otherwise unmodified 997, but these opinions--as well as whether or not they sound good--are very subjective. Since I plan to run a number of track days, some with dB limits, I'm curious to know if anyone has actually measured how loud the bypass pipes are?

Dude, it's loud. Seriously loud. It doesn't even sound particularly nice, either.
I had them on my car for one night, and I put the stock exhaust back on.
Actually, I re-used the bypass pipes to do my PSE hack.

Fabspeed's Supercup exhaust AND muffler bypass pipes pretty much exceed just about every Db check. This is anecdotal, but file it under 'trust me'.
Muffler bypass pipes require you to yell to your passenger at certain RPM and they will cause your ears to ring if used a lot, which means the sound level is higher than any practical limit anyone is going to set.
For a short 10-20 minute ride, damn it's sweet. Every other time: I can't wait to get the hell out of this car! It's love/hate.
That's why I have a Borla going on this week.

Guess I'll probably pass then--I was hoping to shed a few pounds at the rear, but I'd like to still enjoy my car in the process. Plus if I'm getting black flagged at events, that's also no bueno.
