Default Battery check via Bluetooth

I bought this one today - Intact Battery Guard. Ctek has one solution as well which is called Battery Sense. Like them both based on what I can find online.
I am normally loyal to Ctek for my cars and boat but now I will try this. No affiliation to any of these brands. Even if Ctek is a Swedish brand

How much power does it use to continuously broadcast, or does it only activate when the car is on or bluetooth device is near (I'm not sure if that's even possible)? What I'm getting at is will this actually materially reduce the time your car can sit before you've got an issue? :-) Thanks, Doug

2 mW.....I'd like to see that. You just introduced another factor to deplete your battery. The sad part is that you are made aware that the battery is low only when you are sitting a few meters away from your car.

Does it ring to remind you to connect the charger? At least that would be a useful feature.

Yes, yes, yes. I know, but fun to check it out.
Will try it on my boat first while having a beer in my friends boat next to it.
