Default Bumper slats touch up paint.

Where can I find touch up paint for the front bumper vent slats in silver? This is for a 997.2.

Any one tried to match the color?

Looks like I need to remove the vent from bumper and match it from the auto store. I wish porsche has touchup paint for it.

The OP's car seems to be a 2006 997.1 C2S (per OP's sig) with a 997.2 bumper. Silver slats were on 4WD 997.2s. 2WD were black. Maybe someone painted silver the original black slats and now the paint is flaking? Black goes better with yellow IMHO.

to the OP i think your best bet is to just get some silver touch up paint at the auto parts store.

the silver oem ones 100% do chip and flake over time (some even pretty badly). porsche merely does a quick spray on the identical black ones and then charges 5 times more for silver.

for those of you who are getting yours resprayed, id recommend getting a few layers of clear coat added on for some extra chip protection. it does change the look a little but not much imo.
