Default Durametric Pro Rental/loan ATL area

Hey,
Looking at yet another 997 and found on that meet my specs, but is located out of state. I have not made plans yet to see the car, but it's located about 2 hrs from the nearest city with a high-end German or Porsche service.
With this in mind, my thought was to bring along a Durametric cable to connect and read the ECU for any major issues/codes and run an over-rev report.

So my question is, does any one in the ATL area have one that I could borrow or rent in case I go out and look at the car?

Thanks
Jeff

First check to make sure seller will let you hook up to the OBD port for your readings.

If it's truly a high-end shop, they should be able to give you the readout before you go out there. If it looks ok, you can get a real time readout when you're there to confirm it. If they won't/can't do that, walk away.

This car is For Sale by Owner. Although he's willing to let me take it to a local Indy, the closest P-dealer (or dealer who can read the ECU) is more than 70 miles away. Thus the reason I'd like to be prepared with my own reader. If I was local this may be easier in person, but having to purchase a flight to see the car I wanted to be prepared.

The car is physician owner, never tracked and 2nd owner. Overall, feel good about the car, just wanted to verify the over-rev report. In the end, the location is maybe just too difficult to work out.

Thanks

I'm assuming the current owner doesn't have a Durametric.
