Default Have you see these LED lights?

I'm on the fence with these lights I have linked below. Anyone have experience with this company or these lights?

Not seen this brand before. Price? Fit & finish? Plug & play or do ou need to solder resistors etc to avoid error messages?

These definitely look interesting and appear to have a "halo ring" like modern cars rather than "LED dots" that we have on the current LED tail options. A quick google search only found one vendor in AUS. They are expensive relative to other options and I am not sure if the brake light is really distinguishable enough. It would be great to see them on an actual car...

Yeah, I doubt the turn signal, brake, and reverse lights will be visible in daylight.

Like every other LED taillight set I've seen for 997s, other than the OEM ones.

I agree with the above comments: STOP and TURN lights which are the two most important ones, are barely visible. I doubt these light will get approved by TUV or anybody else.

Seen this allot on motorcycle aftermarket lights. looks great initially but lights cant be seen in daylight.
Usually in sales pictures they brighten them up a bit to sell you on it but here even in pictures it seems dim.
Also take a closer look, only one line of LEDs for any particular function. Even if they are super bright LEDs, which i doubt, one line of such small LEDs wont be visible during the day.

if these were to be bright enough for daylight, the entire light would probably look better if it was a touch frosted so the individual LEDs weren't as visible.
That would look much better.

Agree...doubt you'll see "DOT approved" stamped on these.

I don't think you will see those ("DOT Approved" stamp) on the popular Depo/Dectane LEDs either. Or any aftermarket LED tail for the 997. Just FYI.

At least one vendor (CarLightPro) says the Depo lights are TUV approved. I thought my Depo lights said DOT approved but I can't be sure and I don't have the car any longer to check.

E Mark in compliance with European regulations, TüV approved.

Yeah, but unfortunately a TUV approval doesn't mean anything in the US (with regards to concerns on insurance, etc.)

That's one of my biggest concern. I just want to see if anyone has the set on their car.

Those look great! The price is a lot steep.

I have after market LED's, and haven't been hassled. I cannot see any issue regarding inspection or insurance, as long as they function properly and are visible.
