I'd be interested in a group deal as well. I'd like to see a group buy price with and with out the primer service to make my decision (but both with the wiring harness). Thanks!

Thank you Neb, any idea how long this price is good?

Also, for anyone that has done the Getty wing and paid for the primer service...did the paint shop that did your final paint and fit feel like the priming service was done well (or poor) by Getty?

He didn't give me a timeline, as long as there is an order of 3 or more that price will hold.

I just ordered the Getty Sport Ducktail earlier this week....worked a pretty good deal with them.

Due to arrive next Tuesday....then off to the body shop for paint install. I also opted for the primer and wire harness. Just a note, ask your body shop if getting it primed by Getty causes them to basically remove the primer due to their painting process. Here is SoCal with all the environmental laws, the paint process is limited to just two processes. All my shop has to do is lightly wet sand it one more time before paint. That normally happens anyway as the lid will need to be blocked out to fit the car....no two alike!

I'm going to have the mesh painted matte black BTW. I also have the GT3Tek lip installed (not pictured in the avatar photo).

Um, ya. I got a discount on list, no sales tax, and I paid for shipping using my FedEx account (shipping was $8.40 next day).

Mark was very nice to an ex-military guy....I don't want to post the price as it would not be fair.

it drains into the engine compartment. the 911 engine is designed to get wet. that said, it's not a ton of water that gets in there. I drove around in a pretty heavy rain storm the other day and the engine was bone dry after. (i have a getty duck wing)

If anyone is thinking about getting a Ducktail or any of their products I suggest giving them a call or email first and talking to Mark. Good guy and they can discount the price if negotiated. I ordered mine end of last week and should be receiving it very soon.

I ordered mine prepped from Getty back in '12. When I asked for a quote from my bodyshop (Mike's auto body) to prep paint and install Mike said $700 if it's prepared well, $1000 if not. Cost me $700 and Mike said the quality was very good.

Hope that helps

Matt

Sorry, been away for week and a half and had no internet. Getty tail installed but body guy is still finishing fitting a GT3 style rear bumper I got(Precision Porsche). Problem I found out after getting it from a buddy is I have to update my tail lights to 997.2 because shape a little different than 997.1
