Ya' know, I seem to have seen this question before and wondered about it myself (but not enough to really do any research). Sharkworks (and others, Fabspeed I think , etc.) sell a hollow "X-pipe" that eliminates the center muffler. It seems like it should be possible to modify the "X" with a 90 degree bend so that the tips lead out through the center of the bumper instead of being channeled to the left/right. While it is possible, I know close to zilch about exhaust systems, so it may not be advisable. You could wait for others to respond or call Sharkworks (I am biased toward them as they are relatively down the road from me) and get their informed opinion directly. (I suspect that if you could do it, you would have to have the pipe fabricated on a one off basis so it won't be cheap.)
