So, was in the City yesterday for a family gathering. Saw 5-6 Porsches street-parked. Seldom drove my ex-6GT3 into town, and haven't taken my GTS in yet. Always concerned with scraping things. I'd be interested in how you fare driving around town.

After one time, I never take the Porsche to LA. Their street culverts just tore up the splitter on the GT3.

No problems yet... just have to take it super slow for the potholes. If anything, avoiding bikers is my #1 concern driving in the city..

Saw a GT2 drive by earlier today in the Marina, guess no concerns there either.

As I said, saw many parked. Guess I'm still wary because of the GT3. That car was lower.

You guys have b@lls for driving these cars in SF. I go there for business frequently so I'm pretty familiar with what it's like. Broken glass all over the place due to vehicle break-ins, homeless people urinating all over the place... Be careful!!

Living in OC I'm also very wary of driving my car into LA. The one time I took my old 335i there I dented a rim on a pothole. There's also the relentless meter maids who ticket for no front plate.

I would not get any car if I had to park on the streets... thankfully i have indoor parking in my building.

She's a beauty!!!

Congratulations and enjoy her in the best of health.

P.S. I greatly look forward to having another black beast along for the fun!

I'd suggest Saturday for a drive but threat of rain.
