I got most things from searching, but there's a couple items.

Can somebody confirm or deny this: only the PDK gear selector introduced the ability to switch gears in manual mode with the center gear selector. Tiptronic 997s can be put in manual but only the wiggle switches on the steering wheel will switch gears.

Does have the sports chrono package change anything about this? Do you even get a sport mode at all with a tiptronic 997.1 without sports chrono?

There was a sportdesign steering wheel for the 997 with proper paddles. What year was that introduced in? I have also seen a paddle kit for the MF wheel which some people seem to use. Does this work fine with the tip?

What is the specific name for these leather options:
- top of the door trim
- leather around the door open handle (looks really good but very rare)

I think the only way to get the door tops in leather, is by ordering full leather interior

For your other question, that option is called "leather door closures".

OK. Then if the car has leather along the screen/middle console but not on top of the doors, is that less than "full leather"? Was the center console side leather a separate option?

Mine is "full leather" per the option list, and has leather on top of the doors. My center console cover was not leather. Haven't looked at the sides, but assume not leather. I'll check.
