Thinking of moving from my 987 Boxster to a 2006 997 2S because of back seats (and the extra power is nice and I prefer its color over mine) but am a tad bit apprehensive about buying a German car with 60k miles, even though my Boxster been trouble free for its 40k miles. But 60k sounds high-ish in my mind.
I'll have a reputable Porsche indy shop do a PPI. Anything else I should look into or ask the dealer about? Naturally I can eyeball the tires and wear and tear on the exterior/interior but don't know much else about what to check out.
Btw, 60k miles on a 997.1 tiptronic is okay, right? I'm not in some "danger zone" of repairs or anything, am I?

You can see if there are any records available. You can also have a good paint/body shop look the car over to see there is any evidence of accident. It's amazing what a good body shop can see sometimes that most of us would not notice.
