Default Alcantara color code?

Guys -- the alcantara bug has bit me and I am looking to recover several pieces in my car. Some I'll do myself..some farm out. With that said, I want to confirm the color code that matches with the Porsche alcantara (headliner, seats, etc.). I've read some say it is 9002 and others say that it is 9052.

Anyone here know for sure?

Here is a link to the colors (see page 3)

I'd contend that neither of those is an exact match. I have a couple of samples at home and vendors will send you samples also. Not a match but probably close enough unless you have pieces right next to each other.

I just ordered some swatches so we'll see. I'll update the forum with my findings.

Just curious why you don't feel either is a match? Alcantara is a proprietary product made by 1 company so unless Porsche works directly with them on a unique color, it has to be something in the catalog (i hope)...

Anyone figure out which is closest to Porsche A15 (the color used on shift ***** and boots) between the two 9002 and 9052 codes? It's more of a grey compared to the black used for the headliner.

Just want to confirm with you and others that see this that 9052 is not a 100% match. It is close but when you put pieces next to one another in the light you can see a slight shade and color difference. Look at my pictures towards the end of the thread you linked.

I previously did not find 9002 a perfect match either. Best bet is to order swatches so you can see it with your own eyes and move forward with what you are comfortable with.
