its ok to use if your car is not that dirty. I do it all the time with a wet chamois towel. Not so good after driving in a rainy day tho. You want to rinse the car first to rid of the sands or debris. Otherwise you'll noticed scratches or swirl marks esp on a dark car. I learned it the hard way on my 996.
The reason I’m asking is that we’re on well water and we have calcium in our water so i’m always getting streaks unless I hand wipe it. I thought I’d look for an alternative.
Thanks MKC2S

I had a chance to stop by a local PCA event for an hour, which presented a good opportunity to add some more black to this thread:

I've had mine 1 month. Just washed and waxed it a few times and it looks like gnomes have been ice skating on it.... but I love the look of black cars... Going to get it it "fixed" after my next track day and figure out how to wash it without scratching the heck out of it....

Here's a pair I took before loading up for the next day at the track.

My first post, thought it would be fitting in the Black Carrera thread. I've had this car for 3.5 years, been a great car. This pic was from PCA HPDE at VIR a little over a week ago.
