Hi.

The local Porsche Center in Norway have helped me installing a Dension Gateway 500S BT/DAB Porsche PCM with cd shifter. The car is a 997 2005 mod.

Menu setup is working fine. Radio channels, cable and Bluetooth connect with iPhone and playlist/songs are displayed on PCM in car.

Only problem; we get no sound (when the Gateway is on). The StatusLED is solid blue in active mode. Original radio and cd is fine when Gateway is off (bypass mode).

I have tried to use the configuration with GWM_CFG.CFG on a USB. The implementation is not confirmed in any way (no songs starting playing of the USB automatically as info says) and no changes spotted in the version setup on the unit (“About”-menu).

Running latest firmware 0056. It is a brand new unit. We have not updated software.

Any advice?

Do not use the CFG files. UPDATE your firmware to 0057, it's been out for months.

This sounds like an installation error. Where is the Dension in relation to the CD Changer? Can you confirm the dip switch settings?

Is there a known fix for the random error on startup yet? Mine goes between phone and cdc not found.
