Spacer for front - how big can you go?
I feel like we could use some front spacers on a 997 to give it even that slight more front track. Somewhat like the GT3 RS which helped with front traction.
How large can you go without causing any issues? 5 or 10mm?
Thanks

Oh boy. There are many many threads on this aren't there?
It will always be predicated on your offset, tire width, ride height and camber.
There is no quick answer for you, but I'll just say 5 to put this to bed.

I used 14mm spacers on the front axle with stock 19 inch sport design wheels (8 inch front) running stock sized tires on a C2S before buying a set of 18 inch GT3 spec CCW's. My car has GT3 LCA's, H&R springs on stock PASM dampers, rolled fenders, GT3 bars, running -2.9 camber. It was tight but no rub, and great front bite added with the wider track.

Good Question. Running 235/35R19, under -1 camber, PASM ride height, Carrera Sport stock wheels (not sure what's the offset).

alex , for your 8.5 inch oem sport front wheels. a 10mm spacer and you will be flush… for a normal 8 inch from oem wheel you can go up to an aggressive 15mm but your sport 8.5's are approx 5mm more outset to start with.
