Default Any ideas on damage?

Slid out on a patch of sand/loose rock on a curbed on ramp. No signs of damage driving it (no noises, pulling in steering, etc.) as I made my way to the side of the highway. However, at first glance under the rear end the entire engine is clearly off its axis. Photo was not taken at the "scene." Trailering it to my mechanic for assessment and will get two other opinions including one from a dealer. What do you guys think?

Hopefully just a broken motor or more likely transmission mount. Keep us updated.

yikes. definitely would say broken motor mount.

There could be a fair bit of damage to hoses, electrical wiring/connectors, etc. Really hard to say without getting it in the air.

good luck

As a matter of fact, I believe there is some electrical wiring damage. In the heat of it I never gave it any thought, but my PASM and Sport mode features are both displaying failure on my dash display. Thanks guys! This ordeal may take several weeks to unfold as I work a week/week schedule but I will do my best to upload pics and info as it comes.

Looks like just the exhaust on the right side dropped. You can the see the mount between the right side header and the catalytic converter. Maybe just sheered the bolts between the cats and headers?

From that pic I would have guessed it was just the exhaust... keep us posted.

I laid on the ground on the side of the highway and slid around to see all I could. None of you know me so it's safe for you to assume I could look at an engine and a transmission and not tell them apart haha however, that isn't the case. I'm looking for ideas on possible damage I haven't come up with myself. More for my own curiosity than this being a source for the fourth quote. I'm unfamiliar with the car as I haven't had it long enough yet to have a "physical" relationship, so I'm worried it not only broke my motor/tranny mounts but warped the body around where they bolt up. In that case, I assume the car would be totaled. Oh btw way, brand new member to the forum, this unfortunately is my first post. I have more pics of the car and some pics of my Cayenne TT on my page. Thanks again guys!

I'd also say you broke the passenger engine mount. Were you able to get a picture of the car with the trunk open? That would be interesting to see.

Mike, no I didn't but you're right I wish I had taken more pics. I had to leave early the next day for work out of town but I will when I get home Wednesday morning!

Found the culprit. Motor mount. Fingers crossed that's all of it...

Id check all the hoses and electrical connections carefully. If all is ok and it just needs a new motor mount, consider yourself super lucky.

Quad, yes so far my luck has been good but in my case it usually turns sour. There are some wires I can see that are pulled tight and I'm sure there are many more, hoses too, to be seen. Some tight wires can be seen in the motor mount pic. I'm in route to my first mechanic to drop off. I'll keep the updates coming!

You might consider changing both motor mounts. Without inspecting the LH mount, you dont know if it's cracked or or otherwise damaged.
