997.2 4S Question
Hi guys, I tried the search function but couldn't find the answer to a question. Am I correct in believing the 997.2 4S is a wide body and is equipped with the suspension and brakes the come on the turbo? Aside from the AWD is there anything else?
It is indeed a wide body and it comes with the same brakes (13" vented and perforated rotors with 4 pistons) and suspension as the C2S. One exception is that limited slip was standard on C4S and optional on the C2S. How this differs from the Turbo I do not know but doubtful that the C2S, C4S and turbos all have the same suspension and brakes.

I am afraid not. The C4S fronts have 4 piston calipers, same brakes as the 996 Turbo. The 997.1 and .2 Turbo comes with 6 piston calipers with slightly larger rotors too. Rears are both 4 piston caliper but of different design.

I stand corrected you are right sir. It is the same brakes as the 996 turbo.
One advantage the 4S has over the 997.1 turbo is you do not have to remove the rear caliper to change pads. Makes changing the rears slightly less of a hassle, at the expense of loss of some braking power!
There is a lot of mis-information on this out there, so easy to do. Pagid's information is wrong and even my local Pagid dealer tried to sell me the wrong ones. My friend has a 997.1 Turbo; his brakes are bigger.
