Default Will running AC lower value?

I know that exterior mods, interior mods, driving the car, washing the car, looking at the car and turning on the headlights will decrease the value of my GTS but it's been really hot in Chicago lately and I'd like to use the AC once or twice this summer. I'm worried this will really put a dent in the car's value though.

Is it worth turning on the AC in today's market?

I fight lowering values by adding to it.

I found a happy car adds to its value. Therefore, I try and give it compliments and park it next to pink things.

I also installed.... well this is top secret.... and "anti entropy" device that attaches to CAN system under the dash (it is hidden). The device sprays the CAN system with positive bytes that retards entropy. You can see the product working ... I have always noted my car uses less and less oil at it ages - well now you know why.

And no, I don't use the AC as it can devastate values here in Philly.

Peace

I don't use my AC I consider it the anti power button and why would I press that?

sometime's I run the AC
I use the DC all the time.
So call me AC/DC.
See me ride out of the sunset
On your color TV screen
Out for all that I can get
If you know what I mean
Women to the left of me
And women to the right
Ain't got no gun
Ain't got no knife
Don't you start no fight
Cause I'm T.N.T

I am not sure my AC has ever been off. My car is worth about $10.

Default Will running AC lower value?

I bought a car value tracker that plugs into the ODB port, it's called Por$che, and syncs via Bluetooth to my mint.com account. It automatically adjusts my net worth for how much I run my AC in the p-car.

No, but driving around town with your spoiler up will.

^ In my eyes that devalues the driver, not the car.

I never turn on my radio to protect my resale value.

LMAO

i predict many more of these threads will pop up.

on side note, my 71 year old father was yelling at me while profusely sweating (and swearing) since i refused to turn on the AC for him…. and now you all know why.

I assume you mean running the AC while the car is idling in the garage. You aren't considering actually driving your car with the AC running, are you???
