With that wing you're already pretending to be a Turbo so why not add a little more decoration (unless that's a real Turbo...).

Without. Do you have Chrome on your car? Doesn't look right with chrome letters. Your tips are not enough to match a theme of the car. Leave it blank or go with 911. I have silver and black theme and the letter is black to go with the "theme" of the car.

I personally don't like all the letter of the new model. Has anyone seen the new Targa GTS in Excellence Mag? WAY to much lettering on the car. IMO

Who cares If it's for the newer cars. Your upset that he's gone and made his own car the way he wants.
Do what you want, but keep it PORSCHE and keep it simple.

Do you get upset when you see other PORSCHE wheels on other PORSCHE's?

Pretending to be a turbo? LOL. Get over yourself. It's a spoiler man, car looks great.
Lots of haters out there.

to those that do the mod, make sure that the porsche is lined up to the BOTTOM of the decklid; since the decklid curves down.

i've seen a few jobs where the P O R S C H E is aligned to the TOP of the decklid, and then when looking at the car from the back, the P O R S C H E ends up curving downwards like a frown. to have it look visually straight it needs to be aligned to the bottom of the decklid.

if the alignment/kerning isn't done properly with the right amount of negative spacing in mind it can look very off. i have seen some 991's that have either been rewrapped or the owner felt that the there was too much scripting; so they remove all the badging and have to re-apply (or respace) it for whatever reason and it seldomly ever looks right.

like many, i was wary if it would look good on a 997 but then i saw the badging on a few 997s done properly by the dealer (such as the car below), i used them them to make my measurements.

IMHO it can look great; provided you follow the way the dealers do it.

I think it looks better on the darker cars, in my opinion the chrome doesn't look great on your color. I also think the wing looks better without the badging. Just my 2 cents.

Default New "PORSCHE" letters. Opinion?

I voted 'without', hate it on the 991 and def doesn't belong on a 997. I find it cheesy.

Remove those FOR SURE, then add the 997 lettering, either just a plain 911, or Carrera letters back!

I know I stated that 997's should not have the PORSCHE but ****, that looks great. I want this in black on my black 4S.
