Chrono? As ADias suggested, if these asian Knock offs were out of spec? Have you had the wheels off since you snugged them up? It could be corrosion? Or could they be the wrong size? Do you have oem bolts to compare them too?
Shove your camera or cell phone up against the barrel hole for the bolt. See if you can see down there.

Thanks, this is going to help. I think heat cycling, old OEM bolts, and the physics of dissimilar metals have created my problem. I inspected and measured the holes on my original lobster fork wheels, and these Asian wheels are identical, including the seating area. And the wheel holes look fine and clear.
