New Headlights!!! LED DRL "Ring"
I ordered the black version, but silver version arrived instead. It always happen, right???!!
But since many of you are interested in seeing more pics with these lights on a real car, here's how they look on my black car without doing the transplant and connection.
Still waiting for the black ones, and I may get these connected in the mean time if I get too bored over this long weekend. Stay tuned!
and one for BEFORE and AFTER

Im sorry, not my taste. I saw them at SEMA last year on a GT3 and did not like them. Aftermarket headlights in general are not something I'd put on my car for safety reasons.
For a little extra $$$ you can get the OEM adaptive headlights.

Completed the transplant, wiring and fitting. It looks very OEM and integrates with the very well without feeling intrusive. Definitely modernise the look of the car by a couple generations.
(keep in mind that 4 LED/Ring is suppose to be DRL, I'll take some photos under the sun-light when the rain-storm is over here!)

Nothing about that looks OEM. It screams aftermarket or a BMW made 911. Lol
To my knowledge there is no "light ring" option from Porsche for the 997.

Installation 1-2-3
1 - remove the original headlights
2a - relocate (A) HID and (B) ballast from original lights to new lights - Easy
2b - relocate the (C) levelling motors from original lights to new lights - Easy, BUT, (D) pay attention to the "ball joint" tip when removing / inserting.
3- installing to the car. The rubber seal on the new lights is thicker than those on the original. It pushes the light forward a bit and I couldn't get it "locked". The trick was to (E) slide the mounting bracket forward by a little then the light will in place and locked properly.
