Default Clear Coat on Rockers 09' C2

I'm sure it's been asked before but I couldn't find it in a search. What can I use to touch up some scratches in the rubberized clear coat on the rocker panel? 09' C2 if that matters.

Not sure if you'd be interested in this option, but Sun Coast sells replacements. I need to replace mine, they're a bit scratched and yellowed.

Can you post a link to what you are talking about? I thought this stuff was sprayed on.

Yes it is sprayed on, just don't know what I can use to repair the deep scratches.

I have this too and the stuff under there looks sprayed on (its textured) and seems to be fairly soft and (on mine) shows white under the surface "paint". One has to be lying on the ground to see the scuffs, but I know that they are there. I thought about trying to color match and spray, but so far I haven't done anything.

you just brush or spray the car color paint on it. You dont use any special process to touch it up. The material is a textured urethane based rocker panel primer that is rolled on during the priming process. I guess the reason is to camouflgue rock chips and scratches on the lower rockers. If it was glossy finish I guess it would look worse. The texture hides it a little. If every car was a show car, you wouldnt need it.
