Just a newbie question, wouldn't the counter rev limiter protect you from over-revving?

Not if you downshift and hit the wrong gear....it's easy to do in some cars. Acura finally stopped replacing engines in the RSXS from missed downshifts way back in 2005. People hit second not fourth and mashed the throttle. Boom! Those were good little cars as I had two of them modded with Mugen goodies. Real stuff too.

The guy never track the car? He didn't get arrested with all that overrevs? I would run really really far away from that car
