Default Not sure if oil leak...

I was inspecting the engine compartment and I saw this...

Not sure if it is considered normal engine crud or something needs to be replaced/fixed. it is located on the top center rear part of the engine compartment.

I would clean it off, then monitor it for a while. Looks like mostly crud.

How many miles since that was cleaned. I wash my engine compartment, 3-4 time a year. Seeing that would concern me. If never cleaned? Looks normal.

Clean and monitor.

x2 normal crud accumulation.

If I recall, that's the line to the air/oil separator, correct?

What do you use to clean the engine compartment?

I think but not 100% sure. It is attached to the air filter nozzle going towards back of the engine compartment.
