Looks nice - it's overpriced for a 997.1 cab. Has full leather interior which is a big plus and sport chrono (makes the dash less pretty and changes the throttle mapping which I don't like, but others do), has standard S brakes, standard seats, and standard exhaust. That's a $45-$48k car being a cab and might have slipped into the low $50s if it were a couple. At $60k your friend can take his time - it's not going anywhere and the closer it gets to winter, the harder it will be for him to sell a cab outside his local market.

Same year and almost identical spec than mine, except mine didn’t come with sport crono package or Porsche crests, but it has factory short shift. Amenities always are a very personal preferences for each one, and what type of car you’re looking. If you are more inclined to DE and track events, you will favor more a coupe, and sports seats, for example. Personally, I don’t track or do DE, so I’m more inclined for open tops in open roads as mine is just a weekend car, so a cabriolet fit my personal taste and use.
I got mine from a PCA owner too some years ago, and what you find is that -usually- is from someone that actually like and know very well the car and the brand and take care of the car.

Also, PCA is some way “restricted”, as only PCA members can obtain contact info, so is seems a more personal and trusted connection. I found that -almost always- cars selling in PCA are at higher prices than you see the market (maybe owner’s tendency to overvalue), sometimes even more than BaT -which already seems to be the place where almost all cars are extremely overvalued (maybe my impression). At PCA you can temporary subscribe as “test driver” and then it will allow to access info from seller to contact. Good luck.
