Frequent topic I've seen on the forums is where to get gundo done and how much it costs.
I had Cantrell Motorsports(http://cantrellmotorsport.com/) complete this mod on my 997.2S. They apparently also call this the "Carnewal GT" exhaust mod.
Cost was $650
Sounds amazing with my Sharkwerks x-pipe. It is quite a bit louder than it was prior to the Gundo hack. Civilized at low rpm but great tone and volume above 2.5k RPM. Does not get rid of the farty noise that we've all heard at low rpm/partial throttle application.
The Carnewal GT exhaust is an internally modified original exhaust.
You don't see any external tubing on the outside.
For the 997-2, we modifiy the 3 exhausts... internally.

Ah so fundamentally the carnewal GT exhaust modification is the same as Gundo on the side mufflers but the cross tubing is done within the muffler vs on the outside?
