Default Lowering Springs H&R vs Eibach Questions

I am looking into adding some lowering springs purely for aesthetics. I have a 06' S Cabriolet with PASM.

1) Anyone have experience with either of these springs? The H&R are about $100 less and claim to drop 1.2in vs 1.0 of Eibach. Is there any significant differences in their performance or advantages over the other?

2) I assume adding these springs I will need to have an alignment done? Will I need to have any other adjustments done?

3) Any tips or tricks for DIY spring install?

Thanks in advance!

Here's a pic of my car as it sits....however I do have a TA front lip waiting for me to install.

I found that the eibach was made by H&R, every spring available is made by H&R

First I've heard of this, it's usually the other way around Eibach makes springs for Brabus, techart, etc, and not H&R. Where are you sourcing this information? I would like to know. I have experience with both springs, Eibach usually keeps the ride as OEM as possible with a less aggressive drop whilst H&R is usually more stiff and lower.
