What will be your next car?

Deciding what to do. I have the 997 cabriolet and a 12 year old Lexus sedan for daily and sports activities like surfing kayaking etc where I need a roof. Seriously considering an Outback to replace the Lexus. No major mechanical issues with the Lexus, but it is beat up cosmetically and does not have modern electronics. Otherwise I could get winter tires and drive the 997 more daily and use the Lexus as a sports mobile only until it craps out. But there is currently some trade in value I could cash in. Thoughts?

I can't see myself without a 911 in my garage, but my 997 TT will still be with me for a while. I'll buy a newer 991 when that time comes. In the meantime, I've been shopping lately for a beater pickup truck. I want one that I can drive out into the mountains to go fishing and that I can use to haul the dogs around. Currently we haul the dogs in my wife's Audi SQ5, and she's not thrilled about that. I need a car that I don't mind getting muddy and having Great Dane slobber on the seats...

I love my 997.2 ('09 S model) and I am not a big fan of the 991 (although there is a slightly used '14 white S model that is optioned quite well at my dealer...hmmmm). My bucket list car is a 997.2 GT3 primarally because I can still get a 6 speed which has gone away in the new GT3. I sat in a new Aston- Martin GT that was just stunning (didn't drive), but I am such a fan of Porsche I doubt that there is a A-M in my future. I guess I won't know until I see that next car of my dreams that I just gotta have (I'm a typical impulse buyer that dealers just love). Maybe the new Mustang GT350 with the flat-plane crank motor that zings to 8000 rpm (hmmmm again).

The P-cars aren't going anywhere but they are getting a new roommate next year. Acura NSX. I'm not ballsy enough to buy one sight-unseen, so I need to wait for the early birds to get theirs. I thought for sure I was replacing my Lexus daily driver with the new RC-F....until I drove one two weeks ago. I've never driven a 450+ hp car that felt so slow.
